Privacy policy

This page explains what information craigdesorcy.com collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: I only collect what you send me, I use it to reply to you, and I don’t sell it to anyone.

What I collect

When you send the application form, I get:

• Your name and email address
• What you’re looking for
• What you write about where you are now and where you want to be

That’s it. There are no accounts, no mailing list, and no tracking or analytics tools on this site.

How I use it

Only to read your application, reply to you, and, if we work together, to coach you. I won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails.

Where it goes

Your application is sent to me by email and kept in my email inbox. I don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. I’ll only share it if the law requires me to.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by SiteGround. Like most web hosts, their servers automatically keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.

The YouTube video

The video on the home page comes from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may set cookies once you press play. Their use of that information is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Some links take you to other websites. I’m not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please check their privacy policies.

How long I keep it

I keep your application only as long as I need it to reply to you, or for as long as we work together.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email me at craigdesorcy@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I’ll update the date at the top of this page.
